This is probably not the type of thing to blog about, or maybe it is. I have a voice issue that I’m searching for some help on.
When I speak, I tend to have a bit of saliva carry in my mouth (sorry, gross I know) that the mic pics up. On short spots it’s not been an issue for me, but these last couple of audio books I’ve been working on have become a nightmare for me because it creating clicks and pops that the mic picks up, and being an audio book they stand out, unlike a commercial that may have music or FX to cover up some of the clicks. I either have to retake a line, sentence or phrase several times before I get a take with out the click, or I try to edit it out afterwards.
Does you know of anything that could help with this problem?
Thank you so much for your time. I’d really appreciate some insight.
