About me

I earned my degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Linguistics, and immediately began narrating educational books on tape. From there I added on-hold voice messaging, Cable TV, educational audio presentations, and radio sound bites. On the journalism side, I have written for national magazines and interviewed celebrities.

If you are looking for a succinct, measured, melodious, soothing voice, that’s what I do best. I am big on EMPHASIS, so the audience understands every syllable. This type of voice works best for audiobooks, children’s stories, educational audio/video, and language tapes. Accents include Valley Girl, American Southern and European French. As a working journalist and editor, I write scripts as well as narrate them. With a minor in Linguistics, I am able to translate any (English) text into phonetic transcription.
